wishing for world-peace = wishing for a car

Just wishing for world-peace is as effective as just wishing for a car. To have a car u have to synergize with a company that is building cars (u can't build a car alone). To have world-peace u have to synergize with an org that is building world-peace (u can't build world-peace alone). When shopping for a car u check Consumer-Report to see which is performing best within your price-range. Likewise shop-around for a world-peace-org which is performing best within your price-range. I recommend:
“Culture of Peace
SGI is actively engaged with UN as NGO in consultative status with UN-Economic-&-Social-Council (ECOSOC).
SGI President Daisaku Ikeda has issued a peace proposal each year since 1983, exploring the interrelation between core Enlightenment concepts & diverse challenges facing global society in the effort to realize peace & human-security.
These proposals are sent to many people and institutions across the world, including various UN agencies & officials, and have come to gain increased notice & consideration among peace scholars and concerned individuals.”

Every war = business venture for profit

As I always said: Every war is a business venture for profit. Religion, politics, race, ethnicity, etc are NOT the causes but just emotional triggers used by the profiteers to get clueless pawns to kill each other in this deadly game of chess for profit.

Friend divided betwn Masons & Atheists

__ I am so glad you communicated this to me in detail. You won’t believe how much you & I do have in common. I too was raised Christian in my youth, and I also no longer attend or practice any theistic religion so I would be close to the Atheist side of things as an adult. I say close, because I have also studied Atheism in great detail and have determined that it itself IS a religion. Atheism has its own gods, and prophets, and saints, and holy books, and holy pilgrimage shrines, and its martyrs, and its manifesto=dogma, etc. just like any other religion (I can show you glass enclosed embalmed bodies of its deities, etc). They have made a closed-minded religion out of fighting against religion. Atheists are as closed-minded fighting to prove there is no god as Christians are closed-minded fighting to prove there is a god.

__ May I offer a suggestion? May I offer the thought that you don’t go to the extreme of becoming a closed-minded Atheist-believer spending all your energy trying to prove there is no god? Instead try being an open-minded combination of:

agnostic,

deist,

Epicurean,

humanist,

New-Thought,

Objectivist,

PASTAfarian (Flying-Spaghetti-Monster),

Quantum-mechanic,

Raelian,

transhumanist,

Unitarian-Universalist,

SGI-Value-Creator,

etc.

accepting the slight possibility that there just might be something that most humans do not yet understand, and in their ignorance call it god because they don’t know what better to call it. It’s definitely not a Santa-Claus type old guy sitting on a cloud shooting Earthlings with lightening-bolts, but “it” might still be something as yet undefined.

~Maybe it was ET (Extra-Terrestrials) that visited Earth long ago and Earthlings worshipped them because they had real cool technology.

~Maybe it is a conglomeration of all human knowledge vibrating in atmosphere like radio & TV signals, which some humans tune-into accidentally and others see them as great gurus, avatars, saviors, prophets, son(s)-of-god, etc.

~Maybe it is some Q (Quantum-force) that humans are just beginning to scratch the surface of through theoretical-Quantum-physics (starting with Nobel-Laureate Max Planck & on).

__ If you could stay just short of crossing over to the closed-minded Atheist religion, and can just accept the possibility that there just might exist something beyond what humans have discovered thus far, you’d fit in just fine. Founding-fathers of America like Benjamin Franklin & others (most of whom were Masons) were just that way as well. Most of them considered themselves deists (Belief: maybe a god put some things together & got things started, but she, he, it, they are long gone, and humans are on their own now; today they would be called humanists).

So don’t let that little thing stop you. I am considering transferring my membership into the Clearwater-lodge, and I’d love to have some Hashers there with me. It’ll be FUN!

Vortex of human collective-reality-template

Kind of challenging to ascertain the PRECISE units of blame to assign to which peoples for their wrongs & atrocities perpetrated against which other peoples. The vortex of human "collective-reality-template" is very strong, and the fact of existence of constant warfare demonstrates that, that vortex is largely destructive in nature. Now, we can stand around arguing who it is that should be blamed the most, or we can simply decide to reverse that down-pulling vortex into an ever-ascending constructive-spiral up-the-bridge of transhumanist eternal-PROGRESSION. There are some individuals & small groups trying to reverse that strong destructive vortex, but it would have been so much easier if there were 300,000 Spartans @ Thermopylae instead of only 300. The point is SYNERGY (individuals can accomplish more working together than the sum of theirs achievements when working separately). So I say, find yourself 1 to 3 groups working for world-peace, and JOIN your efforts with theirs (SYNERGY)! Yes, I used that word "JOIN". So many people sound so silly when they insist upon being "spiritual-NON-joiners" meditating alone for world-peace or singing Kumbaya in small insignificant groups, thinking that by so doing they will somehow miraculously reverse the OVERWHELMING economic power of global MIC's (Military-Industrial-Complexes; yes, all wars are financed by someone as an economic investment with the purpose of making a profit, no matter what religious, ethnic or political cause it seems to be caused by). Can't reverse that alone. Got to JOIN together in large powerful groups working to create PIC's (Peace-Industrial-Complexes). The only way there will ever be peace on Earth is when PIC's outcompete MIC's in PROFITABILITY. Some of the groups I can recommend for joining are FreeMasons, SGI, ACFR, AAONMS, RIIA, CGMNA, www.theShiftNetwork.com, www.ThriveMovement.com, www.theVenusProject.com, www.agnt.org, http://icuu.net, http://www.sgi.org/community-initiatives/PEACE-and-disarmament.html, http://theStateOfIllusion.com.

Agreed, of course, that extreme collective is a guaranteed recipe for mob rule and total destruction (Communism, Nazism, Socialism, Fascism, Juche, etc). The extreme opposite is ALSO a guaranteed recipe for mob rule and total destruction (anarchy, Mad-Max, Mexico, much-of-Africa, etc). The fact is that 99.9%of proponents of total individualism are NOT able to do anything 100% by themselves (build their home AND build their car AND grow all their food AND make all their cloths AND educate their children AND take care of all their medical emergencies AND make their own guns AND protect their daughters from human-trafficking-slavery, etc, etc). So let's stop empty un-measurable philosophizing, and synergistically JOIN together in constructive groups which are ACTUALLY, MEASURABLY producing results which are TANGIBLY uplifting humanity towards higher levels of civilization, cooperation, acceptance, HAPPINESS for all. Otherwise, when they come for those who insist on going-it-ALONE, who will be there to stand-up for them?

Breaking through a wall

In Marathon-running there is an experience that many Marathoners experience called “The-Wall”. It is when your body has used-up all the fuel and you still have miles to run. To me it usually happens somewhere between miles 17 & 20 leaving me with 9 to 6 more miles to run “on-fumes” (psychic-power alone). Men-in-Black have a special red-button in their car that they engage only in very special circumstances. My “red-button” is called Daimoku. It’s a mantra that converts my “Clark-Kent” into Superman. Using it, I have broken through many, MANY insurmountable walls. The mantra is:
Nam-Myo-Ho-Renge-Kyo
and its meaning is:
Focused-Passion(Nam)
condenses
Infinite-Possibilities(Myo)
into
Tangible-Form(Ho),
since
Cause-attracts-Effect(Renge)
thru

Harmonic-Resonance(Kyo).

Using known paradigms to intro new ones

It’s easier to introduce an advanced paradigm
by referencing a paradigm that people are already familiar with,
than to ask people to scrap everything they have ever known & believed in.
That’s why Jesus referenced Jewish scriptures to introduce Buddhist concepts to Jews.

That’s why Paul referenced pagan concepts to introduce Jesus’ teachings to pagans.

Every cause has its effect

“Every cause has its effect, & every effect was caused by a cause. Nothing ‘just-happens’ w/o a cause, so nothing that happened ‘just-happened’ w/o a cause. It’s not about blindly obeying a list of don’ts, it’s about understanding consequences. Everyone can choose to do whatever they want, but EVERY choice has its consequence. 1Cor9:25NIV: ‘Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training’. One must ask oneself: ‘Is this choice propelling me up the ever-ascending bridge of eternal-progression toward greatness, or does this choice contain the Seed of Stupidly-Selfish Self-Sabotage resulting in a Sucky, Substandard, Shameful, Second-rate performance & Shortcoming/coming-Short of greatness?’ ” --Vinnieosophy
