I- There are 2 main opposite ideas of what’s good for Americans:

A- Welfare-state where gov’t takes care of people & everything, &

B- Free-enterprise where gov’t is kept to minimum allowing people freedom to take care of themselves & everything.

These 2 systems have been  at odds for a long time

like Hatfields & McCoys,

like Montagues & Capulets,

like Yankees & Rebs. 

Supporters of each system believe their system to be best for Americans.

There is a lot of armchair philosophizing going on, where everyone w/o experience thinks that “freedom-of-speech” means they should FORCE their opinions on others, & shout-down anyone who has even slightly different opinion.

This conflict could easily be solved if everyone offering their opinions & votes

was thoroughly

educated,

  experienced, &

    $ucce$$ful in:

History,

  Economics,

    Finance, 

      Business, &

        Climate.

Who would hire a plumber to do their open-heart surgery, no matter how good-looking &

well-spoken they may be?

Yet so many hire by vote someone who is good-looking & well-spoken, but otherwise untrained & inexperienced in d positions in which they’re offering their public service.

2-Atheism,

3-Agnosticism,

4-Humanism,

8-Skepticism, nor

9-Cynicism.

Sadly,

uninformed people are

more & more frequently using them as synonyms, and even more sadly, dictionaries are beginning to reflect that miss-use & confusion.

Upon extensive word-study, one can see that these are not really synonyms for each other.

Deism:

some divinity may have jumpstarted things (Intelligent-Design-Big-Bang theory) but has since moved on and is not currently involved.

Anti-theism:

BELIEF-system (religion) that there definitely is no such thing as divinity, (which, BTW, is just as scientifically unprovable as theism; not being able to prove existence of something, does not prove its nonexistence;

e.g., City-of-Troy was just a myth & “nonexistent” until discovered & excavated in 1800s).

Anti-gnosis:

Anti-knowing:

since neither Atheism nor theism can be scientifically proven,

it therefore cannot be known.

Humanism:

focus ought to be on human self-reliance (regardless of any other beliefs).

For example, this also could be considered a humanist idea:

“god helps those who help themselves”.

Free-Thought:

free to think, explore, & debate in ALL directions (not only Atheist direction).

NonTheism:

non-issue; since neither Atheism nor theism can be scientifically proven,

it therefore ought be tabled as a non-issue.

Hindus weren’t as big a challenge to Christianity because they were already mono-trinitarian-henotheists with mono-divinity Brahman, expressing as trinity of Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva, further expressing thru multitude of demigods & avatars (which Christians call angels & saints).

Buddhists also weren’t a serious challenge being mostly humanist non-theists who basically think of “gods” as metaphors or personified representations of concepts.

      Inhabitants of this planet essentially are a company trying to produce whatever is needed by its employees.

Like any other company,

it has its:

Would it be wise to put a bunch of 13-year-old‘s with 8th grade education in charge of a company with equal voice on how it is to be managed?

Or a bunch of 18-year-olds who have not finished high school and have no experience in running a company successfully?

If you had a multimillion dollar company, would you put in charge of it a bunch of 18-year-old ex-felons who do not speak well primary language of your country, have not finished high school, whose only qualification is that their birth certificates say they are 18?

Or a bunch of people of any age who have no proven track-record of being able to coordinate anything of significance?

Every company and organization has a hierarchy pyramid of increasing capabilities, which one needs to climb to get more responsibility & authority.

What would you think of an 18 year old straight out of high school who gets employed by IBM and immediately insists to have equal voice with CEO in running that company?
